Our paper published in Droplet has been highlighted as the outside front cover. This cover image demonstrates functional surfaces in nature such as lotus leaves and butterfly wings. Inspired by these surfaces, scientists have designed a myriad of functional materials with super-wetting performance. The paper that is highlighted by this cover image provides a comprehensive review of bioinspired super-wetting materials that are designed for applications of water manipulation. For more details, please go to X. Leng, L. Sun, Y. Long, Y. Lu*, Bio-inspired super-wetting materials for water manipulation, Droplet 2022, 1, 139–169.

A small droplet reflects a big world! To collect exciting and ground-breaking stories (yes, in a scientific aspect) of droplets and bubbles, we established a new journal – Droplet, published with Wiley. Droplet is an open access journal that enables your published research to be widely disseminated everywhere in the world with no charges or subscription for the readers. All APCs are waived until 2025. We look forward to your submissions and thanks in advance to your contribution.
